where can i find information on prophets, the study of ...

not that i have a problem expanding my knowledge base on a historical culture, but i would like to branch out just a bit more. most of their prophet books, i have discovered are locked in a vault under the pope’s throne so in less i decide to really join the church (which aint happening, i am afraid of holy wo/men) it will make it a little hard.

i’ve got some fragments on a cult during the roman times (before christ) that had a temple dedicated to the arts, and a few here and there names. not much to really be doing a proper research on.

is there a place, or a way i can just get my hands on the scripture, the exact wording itself?

is anyone as obsessed with prophecy as i am?

Note: i dont buy into it, exactly, its a bit of a hobby project.

I love prophecy also!!! I’ve spent many hours studying prophecy. The only way you would be able to get the exact wording would be in the ancient Hebrew and Aramaic text, for ancient Hebrew doesn’t translate well into English and has many discrepencies as far as wording.

I buy into it! Once you see the predictions, when they were written, and what exactly happened, you get an awe-inspired feeling of amazement. it’s strange

My suggestion is to google works on the Oracle at Delphi, Nostradamus, and Edgar Cayce. This gives you a range of the ages, from Graeco-Roman through Medieval and to the 20th Century.

It is fascinating to see how the different aeons responded to oracles and prophesies.
